Meditation: I have written several times on the power of meditation. I stand by this whole-heartedly. And for those that are saying “I can’t sit still like that…or my mind won’t stop thinking…or I fall asleep when I try….then YOU may need this the most. If you find yourself resisting this, you have some inner work to do. Start with sitting every day for 10 minutes. Feel free to sit longer if you feel the need. If you fall asleep that is perfectly okay. That just means your body needed a little more rest.
Move: We are energetic beings and need movement in order to flow. Often times when we feel stagnant it’s because we haven’t gotten enough movement to move the energy throughout our bodies. The energy is stuck, therefore, we feel “stuck”. Move your body for at least 30 minutes every day. If you’re looking to boost your metabolism then add weights. It doesn’t matter how you move, just move!
Eat Plants: If you tend to fall prey to fad diets, stop. They are toxic and ineffective. If you change one thing about your diet, ADD MORE PLANTS. The more organic you can get the better. Just like movement, I’m not going to get into specific vegetables you should eat, just eat as many of any of them as you can. Variety is key.
